Getting Started

How do I get a quote?

Visit our Sign Up page and fill out the simple 3-minute form. You’ll receive a personalized quote instantly — no phone call or email required.

What documents do I need?

You’ll need: driver’s license(s), vehicle registration or VIN, current insurance declaration page (if applicable), and details about recent accidents or tickets (past 5 years).

Can I switch mid-policy?

Yes. We’ll help you cancel your old policy (often with a prorated refund) and activate yours the same day — no lapse in coverage.

Coverage Details

What’s the difference between liability and full coverage?

Liability covers damage/injury you cause to others. Full coverage = liability + collision + comprehensive (your car’s repairs too). Required for leased/financed vehicles.

Does my policy cover rideshare driving?

Standard policies do not. But we offer a Rideshare Endorsement that covers all periods — personal use, app-on/waiting, and passenger trips.

Is rental car coverage included?

If you carry collision & comprehensive, most policies extend that coverage to short-term rentals in the U.S. (for personal use). We also offer optional Rental Reimbursement.

Filing a Claim

How do I file a claim?

Call +1 (415) 406 7667 anytime, use our mobile app, or log in to your online account. A dedicated rep will guide you through every step.

How long does a claim take?

Minor claims (e.g., fender benders) are often settled in 24–48 hours. Complex claims get regular updates, with most resolved within 7–10 business days.

Do I need a police report?

For accidents involving injuries, hit-and-runs, or significant damage — yes. For minor incidents (e.g., parking lot dings), a report isn’t always required, but helpful.

Billing & Support

Can I pay monthly?

Yes — choose monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual payments. Auto-pay gives you a 5% discount.

What if I miss a payment?

We send reminders 7 and 3 days before due date. You have a 10-day grace period. After that, coverage may lapse — but we’ll work with you to reinstate quickly.

How do I update my policy?

Log in to your online portal or call us. Adding/removing drivers, vehicles, or updating garaging address takes minutes — and may even lower your rate!
